Dieter Family Endowment Fund for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Teen Suicide Donate This Field of Interest Endowment is part of the Seward Community Foundation, which shall make grant recommendations from this fund. Earnings from the endowment will be used for grantmaking in the following areas. The Seward Community Foundation may determine on an annual basis whether grants will be made to one or both areas, based on the most pressing needs and opportunities to address these areas. 1. Prevention of domestic violence and abuse of women and children in the Seward, Alaska area. 2. Teenage suicide prevention in the Seward, Alaska area.
Frank Dieckgraeff Memorial Fund for Seward Seniors Donate An endowment fund, created in memory of Frank Dieckgraeff, to support opportunities for senior citizens in Seward, Alaska. Advised upon by the Seward Community Foundation Affiliate. ..."Therefore, the fund's spendable allowance will be used to make grants to support the financial needs of Seniors in the Seward area who are on a low fixed income. In particular, grants will be used to offset the often escalating cost of energy, such as utility and heating bills for individuals classfied as "low income".
